Advantages and Disadvantages of Boarding Schools.

Nowadays, boarding school are school where students can spend days and nights. They are very popular among the students living for away from schools. Although, they have to live and learn with friends and teachers for around eight months,  they can learn many things. They have to follow the school’ rules and regulation Both knowledge  and more quality of life can be improved. Nevertheless, it has both advantages and disadvantages. 

The main advantage of boarding  schools is  that the students can develop interpersonal skill. According to the association of boarding school, the schools can provide a rich school experience for many students in residential environment. At a result, the students can learn to work as teams. Therefore, they can learn to participate in  discipline training. They can play their attention to learning and helping themselves. In addition, they have opportunities to review lessons, take classes special to promote academic progress. Besides,

Studying in the boarding schools can reduces accident rate derived from journeys from their houses to schools. Therefore, their teachers will act as the students’ second parents.  

However, the most important drawback of the boarding school is the students’ misbehavior. For example, the students may learn and start some bad habits including smoking, gambling, theft and other dishonest behaviors. Secondly, the parents have to spend a lot of  money for the boarding schools. The parents have to pay both tuition fee and dormitory fee. Moreover, their children will be so homesick because they are  separated from their parents for many mouths. Furthermore, they have to adjust themselves with new schoolmates, new teacher and new place, They may have frustration that worsen homesickness. In addition, if  they are ill who will take care of them ?

  As previously stated, the pros and cans of sending our children to study in boarding  school should depends on our children’s needs not our needs.

Reading for the Main Idea

I learned about reading for The main idea of a paragraph gives you the most important information about the topic. It is often expressed directly or it can be implied. While reading a paragraph, a reader needs to be able to locate the sentence containing the main idea. Position of Main Idea

The main idea can be found in 3 different places in a paragraph as Follows:
 Beginning of the paragraph (the first sentence) End of the paragraph (the last sentence) Middle of the paragraph
            
             Conclusion, in some paragraphs the main idea is not directly stated in the paragraph. It is normally considered as the forth type if it is indirectly stated, it has to be guessed by the reader. It is always a sentence.

Tablets Should Be Used to Promote Effective Learning.

The emergence of hi-technology equipment for education is in great number. Tablets are tools that help learners learn effectively. Thus, it is a good idea to use tablets for educational purposes.

One point of view in favors of using tablet, is that it is convenient for learners. Firstly, the learners do not heed to carry their heavy bags because they can download all applications related to their lesson and keep them in their tablets. Moreover, using tablets provides equal opportunity for the rich and the poor to learn. Furthermore, data provided in the tablets are interesting, lively and useful. The students can learn to read, write, calculate from fun and exciting lessons and activities. Secondly, the students can practice doing many tests including ONET,NT, GAT, PAT, etc. Therefore, this can increase the students’ scores of those tests because they are familiar with test formats and items. Beside, tablets are also beneficial for teacher. They allow the teacher to make their lesson more interesting by using animated cartoons, videos songs and games.

On the other hand, using harmful tablets for a long period of time can be for the students’ physical and mental health. If the children play game more than learning or searching useful information, they will waste their time. Many students go to hospital because they suffer from Trigger Finger. Moreover, it can make the students become short-sighted. Obesity can be another drawback of using tablets resulting from lack of exercise. However, these problems may not happen if percents restrict time for their children to use tablets. In addition, the parent have to check their children’s behavior while they are using tablets. Some people may argue that using tablets can freeze the children’s imagination is more important than knowledge.” Conversely, the tablets can increase reading skill and promote imagination of the students. There are several applications and games providing opportunities for the students to develop their imagination, such as drawing applications, dressing games, cooking games, etc. The students can develop their reading

The Children Should Not Play Online Games.

Online games has been very popular among Thai children. They play for the games for fun and relaxation. However, the children games have some impacts on 80%  of children are affected form playing Online games. Children should not play online game because they have more harmful results than useful ones.

First of all, they are harmful for the children’s health. Playing Online game for a long time can lead to sore eyes, sore wrists and backaches. The children may wake up late and are sleepy in classes. Moreover, they waste a lot of money for playing Online games. In addition they are harmful to the children’s mental health. When the children want to win the games, they may be stressed and worried. Moreover, the children wastes a lot of time to play and win the games. Some children spend many days and nights to reach new levels of the games they play.

From above information, playing online games is more harmful than useful. Therefore, the children should not play online games because they may lose both their valuable time and money. Importantly, their physical and mental health are also destroyed.
