Promote Effective Learning.
The emergence of hi-technology
equipment for education is in great number. Tablets are tools that help
learners learn effectively. Thus, it is a good idea to use tablets for
educational purposes.
One point of view in favors of using
tablet, is that it is convenient for learners. Firstly, the learners do not
heed to carry their heavy bags because they can download all applications
related to their lesson and keep them in their tablets. Moreover, using tablets
provides equal opportunity for the rich and the poor to learn. Furthermore,
data provided in the tablets are interesting, lively and useful. The students
can learn to read, write, calculate from fun and exciting lessons and
activities. Secondly, the students can practice doing many tests including
ONET,NT, GAT, PAT, etc. Therefore, this can increase the students’ scores of
those tests because they are familiar with test formats and items. Beside,
tablets are also beneficial for teacher. They allow the teacher to make their
lesson more interesting by using animated cartoons, videos songs and games.
On the other hand, using harmful tablets for a long
period of time can be for the students’ physical and mental health. If the
children play game more than learning or searching useful information, they
will waste their time. Many students go to hospital because they suffer from
Trigger Finger. Moreover, it can make the students become short-sighted.
Obesity can be another drawback of using tablets resulting from lack of
exercise. However, these problems may not happen if percents restrict time for
their children to use tablets. In addition, the parent have to check their
children’s behavior while they are using tablets. Some people may argue that
using tablets can freeze the children’s imagination is more important than
knowledge.” Conversely, the tablets can increase reading skill and promote
imagination of the students. There are several applications and games providing
opportunities for the students to develop their imagination, such as drawing
applications, dressing games, cooking games, etc. The students can develop
