Assessing
and testing (group 3)
On Monday 16th
July, 2014 I study in English subject about Assessing and testing. Which my
friend have describe in contents about the trouble with making include that
spoke about how to deal with it, using assessment scales, involving the
students and using Rubric they presented as following;
First of all,
my friend presentation about contents their students are often assessed and
tested to see how well they done, how well they are doing or how well they
perform in standard exam. This is type of assessment are forth type that
formative is happens when we test students. So that, we can help them to do
better next time. Summative is testing their knowledge at the end of something informal
is decide what to do next in a lesson and last diagnostic is we can give
diagnostic test at any stage during a course to help us plan future lesson.
However, my friend complained about designing and making test that although as
teacher we sometime feel that we don’t have a lot of influence on the design of
public exam, we often find ourselves writing progress and achievement test
which my friends spoke about type of test item are 2 types of test item have
direct test item and indirect test item on 4 macro skills and many kinds of
indirect test item. So that, Gap fills, cloze multiple choice, true/false,
jumbled sentence
Beside, my
friends described about how to prepare which their
students make sure that they have a clear goal to aim for discuss with our students this group yet spoke to the trouble
with marking and how to duel with it that a good tester has score reliability
in the other words and involving the students by we can ask their students what
grading system they would like us to use for students can mark their own test
or students can use CAN DO STATEMENT to assessment their own abilities which we
can ask our students to take part in PEER EVALUTION. So that, they grade each
other test when we can design about our “Assessment criteria” we can design an
assessment scale. Moreover, my friends complain about Rubric! What is the
Rubric? It is a multi purpose scoring guide for assessing their student’s
products and performances. It’s important source of information for program
improvement.
Finally,
Assessment and testing are observation their students are often assessed and
tested to use how well they have done how well they perform in standard exam
which their teacher should design for appropriate to students have a clear goal
to aim with the rubrics for improve teaching and successful in making the item
too much.
